Making Sense and Cents In The Real Estate Game
Louisville, KY. My home since birth is filled with a ridiculous amount of incredibly talented professionals, artists, thinkers, doers, developers, movers and shakers, and yes, real estate investors.
In the real estate world, I would say about 95% of the people I’ve met over the last decade have been upstanding individuals that care about the people and the lives they affect when conducting business.
That’s just it though, they are in the BUSINESS of real estate. Whether it’s investing, listing or developing, they are in the business of making money via the vehicle of real estate. Now there’s ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with making money in the business of real estate. As a matter of fact, it’s residual reinvested profits are an integral part of keeping our city, our state, our country, the developing world, and the already developed world from falling to pieces.
To reiterate, the vast number of real estate professionals I know or know of do a fine job of taking care of their clients needs. HOWEVER, I’ve personally always been driven by the needs of others.
I don’t crave the affection of others. I crave the smile on their faces when I’ve helped solved their problem or need. I don’t crave the praise of others. I crave the accomplishment of knowing I’ve positively affected the life of another human being.
I’m not in the real estate business. I’m in the people business. The business of helping people that are in need.
